e all invest in our children. We give them all we can, and all we are, so that:
They know they are loved.
They have as much joy as possible.
That is all.
Parents can feel a lot of pressure to make sure their kids are performing early. From family, from social media (probably the biggest culprit), etc. At Little Bird Piano Academy, this isn’t our goal.
Learning a musical language early doesn’t mean your baby will be a tiny Mozart you can make viral videos of, any more than learning a second language means they’ll be delivering Ted Talks at age 3. What learning music early will do is enrich your baby’s life and give them opportunities to connect with other people, plus the many other benefits a musical education provides:
- Improved cognitive development
- Language acquisition
- Confidence making decisions
- Playing music for a lifetime of enjoyment
- Best of all, you and your baby will grow to have a lasting bond!
I know you hope your children will be successful in life. We all hope our kids will be able to provide well for themselves and their families. We hope they’ll have great health and long, joyous lives. We want these things for them simply because they are our favorite people in the whole world and we selflessly want them to be happy. We all hope your children will grow a strong sense of who they are, to develop lasting, healthy relationships, and to truly be happy.
Baby-Led Piano may be a means of helping your baby grow their brain and become proficient at playing the piano, creating music, and all the other things.
But more than that, Baby-Led Piano is a course in
- Being available
- Listening
- Setting a great example of growth, perseverance, and fun And lastly,
- Offering the opportunity to communicate through the language of music.
Piano Lessons for you and your baby is an investment in your child’s life and happiness.
Of course there will be rewards for you too, like lots of fun and laughter with your baby, seeing them grow more and more confident, and gaining valuable insights into, and confidence in your always growing parenting skills.
