he study of neuroscience is uncovering more and more evidence that early music training may be one of the most beneficial forms of education for structuring your baby’s brain, helping them to learn how to learn, and for long term formation of plasticity in the corpus callosum.
Babies who are immersed in two or even three languages from the day they’re born, both visually and aurally, can learn to speak fluently in those language by age 3!
I have two year old students who speak to their parents in their native tongue, and turn around and say the same thing to me in English. They don’t have to be told to do it. Their adorable little brains just sort it out. These kids are spoken to often, in both languages. They’re read stories in both languages, and they are spoken to in full language, and naturally, they started as babies, with baby talk. Humans have been using baby talk to teach their babies to talk for thousands of generations! It works, and we quite naturally do it.
Music is a powerful, universal language, that can also be taught as soon as your baby’s born! The problem is, no one is quite sure about musical baby talk. Teachers have been refusing to take young students, IMHO because they just don’t have any idea what to do with them.
At Little Bird Piano Academy, through decades of study, experience, and training, we have discovered Musical Baby Talk!
