Connie is great at not only keeping the technical aspects of Little Bird Piano Academy®’s emails, payment portals, website, and store beautiful and functioning properly, she’s become a great friend to me, and helps keep me clear on ways to provide you and your kids with an experience that you will treasure for a lifetime.
This winter, Connie and her family experienced a devastating loss when her husband Ryan suddenly passed away from complications of the flu. He went to the VA ER, thinking there would be a quick solution to the trouble he was having breathing, only to find that he would be intubated immediately, transferred to a hospital in another city further from home, and there would be weeks of ups and downs and multiple complications culminating in his body finally giving out.
Ryan was a an Army combat veteran, a loving husband and father, and most recently, an assistant football coach. He was only 41.
The emotional trauma for Connie and her two children- 10 & 12, is something none of us can truly imagine unless we’ve gone through it ourselves, but we can each put ourselves in their place.
And then there are the smothering long term concerns of how to keep the house, get the kids through college, and keep food on the table, all while grieving the kind of grief that never really goes away.
